Final Four Opening Game Odds

(TheSpread) – The two national semifinals of the Final Four take place on Saturday. Here is a look at the opening odds for these two contests.

The Final Four will take place from the Superdome in New Orleans. The first of the two games on Saturday has Kentucky taking on Louisville at 6:05PM ET. Oddsmakers have Kentucky as the clear favorite in this game, giving them a point spread of -8.5. The over/under total for the game has been set at 137.5 points. Kentucky is 36-2 on the season and 9-1 on a neutral floor while Louisville is 30-9 overall and 8-0 on a neutral court. The Cardinals are 22-13-1 against the spread while Kentucky is 15-21-1 ATS. Kentucky beat Louisville 69-62 earlier this season, but the Cardinals covered the 10-point spread. Kentucky has won the last three in this series and the Wildcats have covered in six of their last eight against the Cardinals.

The second game takes place at 8:45PM ET and has Ohio State facing off with Kansas. According to the oddsmakers, Ohio State is a 2.5-point favorite against Kansas on Saturday, while the over/under total for the contest has been set at 137 points. Kansas is 31-6 on the season and 7-3 on a neutral floor while Ohio State is 31-7 overall and 6-1 on a neutral floor. The Buckeyes are 20-13 against the spread this season while the Jayhawks are 18-17-1 ATS. Kansas beat Ohio State 78-68 earlier this season and they have won the last four against Ohio State, while covering the spread in two of those four games.
