The Wildcats are making their 41st appearance in the Sweet 16 while West Virginia is appearing in a regional semifinal for the ninth time. These two last met in 2011 with Kentucky getting a 71-63 win at home.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kentucky is favored heavily in this game, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -13.5 points against West Virginia. The over/under total for the game has been set at 136.5 points. This game is being played from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

West Virginia has defeated Maryland and Buffalo thus far in the NCAA Tournament. The Mountaineers are just 3-3 in their last six games, but are 4-1 against the spread in their last five. Kentucky has defeated Hampton and Cincinnati thus far in the tournament, but the Wildcat have failed to cover the spread in both games, with the spread being 15 points or more in both contests. The Wildcats are just 3-3-1 against the spread in their last seven and they have hit the under in four of their last six games.
