(TheSpread) – The East Region had all chalk reach the Sweet 16. Here is an updated look to reach the Final Four out of this region.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Indiana is favored to win this region, as it has 1/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Miami (2/1), Syracuse (15/4) and Marquette (7/1).

Indiana is the top seed in the region and has reached the Sweet 16 by picking up wins over James Madison and Temple. The Hoosiers held off the Owls on Sunday, 58-52, in a surprisingly close game. Indiana has reached the Final Four eight times, the last time coming in 2002.

Miami is the No. 2 seed in the region. The Hurricanes advanced to this round by beating Pacific and Illinois. Miami survived a scare from Illinois, beating the Illini 63-59. Miami has never reached the Final Four in program history.

Syracuse is the No. 4 seed in the region. The Orange defeated Montana and California to reach this level. Syracuse narrowly beat Cal, 66-60. Syracuse has reached the Final Four four times, the last time coming in 2003.

Marquette is the third seed in this region. The Eagles have had a scare in both games, beating Davidson by one on a last-second shot, and then beating Butler, 74-72. Marquette has reached the Final Four three times, the last time coming in 2003.
