Gonzaga vs. Arizona Odds


SAN DIEGO, CA (TheSpread) – The third round of the NCAA Tournament closes out at 9:40PM ET when No. 1 Arizona faces No. 8 Gonzaga in the West Region.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Arizona is the slight favorite, as the Wildcats have odds of -6 points against Gonzaga. The over/under total for the game has been set at 127 points (View Matchup). These two last met in 2011 with Gonzaga picking up a 71-60 victory.

Arizona is 20-14 against the spread this season while hitting the under 20 times. The Wildcats didn’t have the easiest time with No. 16 Weber State on Friday, as Arizona won just 68-59. Arizona held Weber State to 30.2 percent shooting and shot 55.3 percent on offense, but the Wildcats couldn’t pull away from Weber State. Aaron Gordon had 16 points with eight rebounds and five blocks in the win while Nick Johnson added 18 points.

Gonzaga is 18-14-1 against the spread while hitting the under 19 times. The Bulldogs picked up their sixth straight win in an 85-77 victory over Oklahoma State. Gonzaga shot well, going 25 of 50 from the floor and 9 of 18 from 3-point land. However, they were just 26 of 41 from the line. Kevin Pangos had 26 points to lead Gonzaga while Przemek Karnowski had 15 points with 10 rebounds.
