Baylor vs. Creighton Odds

SAN ANTONIO, TX (TheSpread) – No. 3 Creighton has its hands full today at 7:40PM ET when it faces No. 6 Baylor in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Creighton is a slight favorite in the game, a the Bluejays have odds of -3 points against Baylor. The over/under total has been set at 144 points (View Matchup). These two have no not met since 1999, where Creighton won 77-76 in overtime.

Creighton is now 18-14 against the spread and it has hit the under in 18 games. The Bluejays are coming off a 76-66 win over Lafayette. Creighton held the Cajuns to 25 of 66 shooting from the field and 4 of 16 shooting from 3-point land. Offensively, the Bluejays shot 28 of 54 from the field. Doug McDermott led Creighton with a game-high 30 points and 12 rebounds. Austin Chatman added 16 points and six assists for the Bluejays.

Baylor is 14-14-2 against the spread and the Bears have hit the over 16 times. The Bears are coming off a 74-60 win over Nebraska on Friday. Baylor was never really in danger in the game, as they dominated the glad with a 37-25 edge. Baylor didn’t shoot that well, posting 17 of 42 from the floor and 2 of 13 from 3-point land, but it didn’t matter. Cory Jefferson had 16 points and six rebounds to lead the Bears while Isaiah Austin had 13 points and seven rebounds.
