This game will be played from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky and is part of the Midwest Region with Louisville as the No. 1 seed and Colorado State as the No. 8 seed (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Louisville is the clear favorite in this game, as the Cardinals have odds of -10.5 points against Colorado State. The over/under total for the game has been set at 134.5 points. Opening odds had the Cardinals as an 11-point favorite. The spread didn’t move around much, simply dropping down to 10.5 points.     

Louisville opened its tournament run with a dominant, 79-48, win over North Carolina A&T. The Cardinals scored with ease in the game, shooting 31 of 54 from the floor despite going just 4 of 16 from 3-point land. Louisville also had 20 steals as a team while forcing A&T into 25 turnovers. Russ Smith led Louisville on the night, scoring 23 points while picking up eight steals. Louisville is now 30-5 on the season, 7-1 on a neutral floor and 21-14 against the spread.

Colorado State picked up an 84-72 win over Missouri on Thursday to advance to today’s contest. The Rams shot 25 of 51 from the floor and 7 of 14 from 3-point land against Missouri. The Rams also had a 36-18 advantage on the glass against Missouri. Dorian Green led Colorado State, as he had 26 points. Colorado State is now 26-8 on the season, 4-1 on a neutral floor and 14-15-1 against the spread.
