Wednesday NCAA Opening Odds
(The Spread) – With just one more night before the NCAA Tournament resumes, we once again focus our attention on the NIT Tournament in college basketball.

There are three Quarterfinals games on the NIT Tournament schedule for Wednesday, none bigger than the matchup between top-seeded Alabama and No. 2 seed Miami at 9:00PM ET.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Crimson Tide 5-point favorites over the Hurricanes on Wednesday. The over/under total for this game has opened at 131 points.
According to latest college basketball trends, the Canes are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games overall and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six road games. They’re also an impressive 30-8 ATS in their last 38 non-conference games and 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games as a road underdog.
On the other side, the Tide are 12-3-1 against the number in their last 16 home games and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as a favorite. They’re also 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 games as a home favorite and 4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games.
Malcolm Grant leads Miami in both points (15.0) and assists (3.3) per game, while Tony Mitchell has a team-high average of 15.5 points per game for Alabama. JaMychal Green also leads the Tide in rebounds per game at 7.8.
In the other Quarterfinals matchups, No. 6 seed Charleston is an 8-point underdog at No. 4 Witchita State, while No. 4 seed Northwestern is a 3.5-point road dog against No. 2-seeded Washington State at 11:00PM ET. NIT games on Wednesday night will be shown on ESPN2.
