Pittsburgh vs. Florida Odds

ORLANDO, FL (TheSpread) – The Third Round of the NCAA Tournament opens with a big game as No. 1 Florida takes on No. 9 Pittsburgh at 12:15PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida is the favorite in this game, as the Gators have odds of -5 points against Pitt. The over/under total for the game has been set at 124 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Florida is now 16-14-1 against the spread and has hit the under in 20 games. The Gators are coming off a 67-55 win over Albany in the second round of the tournament. The Gators were able to win with good shooting and good defense. Florida shot 51 percent from the floor while holding Albany to 39.2 percent shooting from the floor and 30.8 percent shooting from 3-point land. The Gators were led in the win by Casey Prather and Dorian Finney-Smith, who each had 16 points.

Pittsburgh is now 13-17-2 against the spread and has hit the over in 19 games. The Panthers have now won four of their last five thanks to a dominant 77-48 win over Colorado on Thursday. The Panthers dominated the game from the start and really clamped down on Colorado, forcing 17 turnovers while holding them to 15 of 42 shooting. Pitt went 31 of 61 from the field and racked up 18 assists with 12 steals while turning the ball over just three times. Talib Zanna had 18 points and five rebounds to lead Pitt while Cameron Wright chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds.
