Dayton vs. Syracuse Odds

BUFFALO, NY (TheSpread) – No. 3 Syracuse hopes to lock down No. 11 Dayton when the two meet up tonight at 7:10PM ET in the NCAA Tournament.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Syracuse is favored in the game, as the Orange have odds of -7 points against Dayton. The over/under total for the game has been set at 128 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Syracuse is 15-15-2 against the spread this season and has hit the under 15 times. The Orange are coming off a dominant 77-53 win over Western Michigan on Thursday afternoon. Syracuse held a strong WMU offense to 17 of 49 shooting from the field and 4 of 18 shooting from 3-point land. The Orange shot 7 of 17 from 3-point land themselves and had a 41-25 rebounding edge over the Broncos. Trevor Cooney led Syracuse with 18 points and three rebounds while C.J. Fair added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Dayton is 18-12 against the spread and it has hit the over 16 times this season. Dayton is coming off a 60-59 upset win over No. 6 Ohio State on Thursday afternoon. The Flyers shot 44.9 percent from the field in the game while holding Ohio State to 3 of 12 shooting from 3-point land. The Flyers were led in the game by Dyshawn Pierre, who had 12 points and eight rebounds while Devin Oliver had 11 points and four rebounds.
