Wichita State is 34-0 this season and the champion of the Missouri Valley Conference. Cal Poly won the Big West Tournament and then picked up a win on Wednesday in the First Four to reach this game. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Wichita State is the clear favorite to win this game, as it has odds of -16 points against Cal Poly. The over/under total for the game has been set at 125.5 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Wichita State is an impressive 24-6-1 against the spread this season while hitting the over in 16 of 30 lined games. The Shockers have had a perfect season and been dominant in recent efforts, winning their last nine games by double digits. Wichita averages 75.5 points per game on offense while allowing just 59.6 points per game defensively, which ranks 11th nationally. The Shockers hold opponents to 39.2 percent shooting, which is the 13th-best mark in the country. Wichita State is being led by Cleanthony Early, who is averaging 15.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

Cal Poly is now 12-19 against the spread while hitting the over 15 times. The Mustangs are now riding a four-game winning streak with its 81-69 win over Texas Southern in Wednesday’s First Four. Cal Poly shot an impressive 29 of 51 from the floor in the victory. Chris Eversley led the Mustangs with 19 points and nine rebounds while Dave Nwaba had 17 points with five rebounds and three blocks.
