LEXINGTON, KY (TheSpread) – Davidson hopes to make another magical run in the NCAA Tournament when it faces Marquette on Thursday at 3:10PM ET.

This game will be played from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky and is part of the East Region with Marquette as the third seed and Davidson the 14th seed (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Marquette is favored, but not by much. The Golden Eagles have a point spread of -3.5 points against Davidson, while the over/under total has been set at 133 points. The opening odds also had Marquette favored by 3.5 points. Davidson is the champion out of the Southern Conference. The Wildcats are 26-7 overall and went 17-1 in conference play, winning the regular season and tournament titles. Davidson is riding a 17-game winning streak entering the tournament. Davidson is 62nd in the RPI rankings, but is 0-3 against RPI top 50 teams this season. The Wildcats were 5-2 on a neutral floor this season and are 16-15-1 against the spread.
