Spread jumps in late Tourney game
CHARLOTTE, NC (The Spread) – Tip-off for tonight’s San Diego State and St. John’s NCAA Tournament matchup isn’t set for 9:40PM ET but there has already been plenty of line movement for this game.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Aztecs are now 4-point favorites over the Red Storm after opening as only a 1.5-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 121.5 points after opening at 121.
Outside of when it plays on neutral courts, San Diego State has not been a good bet of late. The Aztecs are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games at neutral sites but they’re just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall. They’re also 2-5 against the number in their last seven games versus Big East opponents and are 1-5 ATS in their last six non-conference matchups.
Then again, the Red Storm are winless at 0-4 at the betting window in their last four NCAA Tournament games so they don’t appear to be a good bet today either.
