ORLANDO, FL (TheSpread) – No. 5 Saint Louis faces a big test today in the NCAA Tournament as it faces No. 12 N.C. State at 7:20PM ET on TNT.

Saint Louis is 26-6 on the season and earned an at-large big through the Atlantic 10. N.C. State reached this game by beating Xavier on Tuesday night in a First Four matchup. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Saint Louis is the slight favorite to win this game, as it has odds of -3 points against the Wolfpack. The over/under total for the game has been set at 131.5 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Saint Louis went 10-19 against the spread this season and it hit the under in 19 of 28 lined games. The Billikens had a strong season but come into the tournament having lost four of their last five. Saint Louis allows just 61.2 points per game, which ranks 18th nationally. They also have the nation’s best 3-point defense, as opponents shoot just 28.4 percent from beyond the arc. Offensively, Saint Louis posts 70 points per game. The Billikens are led by Dwayne Evans, who averages 14 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

N.C. State was 19-12-1 against the spread this season and it hit the over in 17 games. N.C. State has won five of its last six, including a 74-59 win over Xavier Tuesday night in the First Four. The Wolfpack had a strong day shooting in the win, going 29-for-53 from the floor while committing just nine turnovers. T.J. Warren had 25 points and three steals in the win while Ralston Turner added 17 points.
