N.C. State vs. Xavier Odds

DAYTON, OH (TheSpread) – Two teams from power conference meet up for a spot in the field of 64 tonight at 9:10PM ET as N.C. State takes on Xavier in the NCAA Tournament First Four.

Both teams are listed as a No. 12 seed with N.C. State coming out of the ACC with a 21-13 record while Xavier comes out of the Big East with a 21-12 record. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Xavier is the favorite in this game, as the Musketeers have odds of -2.5 points against the Wolfpack. Xavier comes into the game 18-13 against the spread and the Musketeers hit the under in 16 of their 31 lined games. Xavier comes into the big dance having lost three of their last four games. Xavier averages 72.2 points per game on offense while giving up 67.9 points per game on defense. Xavier is one of the top shooting teams in the country, shooting 47.1 percent from the field, which ranks 41st in the nation. Xavier is led by Semaj Christon, who averages 17.1 points and 4.2 assists per game.

N.C. State went 18-12-1 against the spread this season and hit the over in 17 of 30 lined games. The Wolfpack have won four of their last five entering the NCAA Tournament. N.C.
