East Region Odds


(TheSpread) – The East Region features two of the top teams in the country. Here is a look at the odds to go to the Final Four out of the East.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Indiana is favored to win this region, as it has 5/4 odds. Other short odds to win are Miami (7/2), Syracuse (5/1) and Marquette (12/1).

Indiana is the top seed in the region, going 27-6 overall and 14-4 in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers won the Big Ten regular season outright. Indiana has reached the Final Four eight times, the last time coming in 2002.

Miami is the No. 2 seed in the region. The Hurricanes are 27-6 overall and went 15-3 in the ACC. Miami won the regular season and tournament title in the ACC. Miami has never reached the Final Four in program history.

Syracuse is the No. 4 seed in the region. The Orange went 26-9 this season and were 11-7 in the Big East. Syracuse was fifth in the Big East during the regular season. Syracuse has reached the Final Four four times, the last time coming in 2003.

Marquette is the third seed in this region. The Eagles went 23-8 overall on the season and won a share of the Big East regular season title with a 14-4 conference record. Marquette has reached the Final Four three times, the last time coming in 2003.
