Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.COM have made the Connecticut Huskies 7-5 favorites to emerge from the West Region. Led by guard A.J. Price (14.0 PPG), center Hasheem Thabeet (10.9 RPG), forward Jeff Adrien (13.6 PPG, 10.0 RPG) and guard Jerome Dyson (13.2 PPG), UCONN earned the No. 1 seed in the West Region.

Oddsmakers also favor the Memphis Tigers, who have been given 2-1 odds to win the West Region. Memphis made it all the way to the Finals last year, but eventually fell to champion Kansas. The Tigers are a No. 2 seed and will take on Cal St. Northridge in the opening round.
