Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.COM have made top-seeded North Carolina an overwhelming favorite to win the South Region at 4-7. The Tar Heels have a collection of some of the best talent in the world, ranging from forward Tyler Hansbrough (21.4 PPG) to guards Ty Lawson (15.9 PPG, 6.5 APG) and Wayne Ellington (15.2 PPG). UNC is easily one of the best teams in the entire tournament this year.

No. 2-seeded Oklahoma has the next best odds at 5-1. The Sooners finished second in the Big 12 Standings this year behind Kansas and lost to Oklahoma State in their conference tournament. OU finished with a 27-5 overall record and are led by forward Blake Griffin, who leads the Sooners in points per game at 21.9, and rebounds per game with 14.3.
