Arizona reached the Pac-12 title game by routing Colorado 92-78 as a 7.5-point favorite on Thursday night and then by upsetting UCLA last night 86-75 as a 2.5-point underdog. The win last night was the Wildcats’ eighth in their last 10 games and they’re now 5-5 against the spread over that same span.

Oregon crushed Arizona State 80-57 as a 15.5-point favorite in the team’s opening game of the Pac-12 tournament and then came back last night to beat Cal 73-65 as an 8.5-point favorite. The Ducks have now failed to cover the spread in three of their last four games but have won eight in a row and nine of their last 10.

OUR PREDICTION: Arizona has covered the spread in four of its last five games and is 9-4-1 at the betting window in their last 14 games versus a team with a winning percentage above .600. They also might be peaking at the right time. Since their 77-72 loss to UCLA at home back on February 25, they’ve rolled against Arizona State, Colorado and that same Bruins team, covering as 9 and 7.5-point favorites, and then last night as a small dog. They’re just 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 games versus the Ducks but then again, they had trouble covering versus the Bruins and they routed UCLA last night.
