CHICAGO, IL (TheSpread) – The 2013 Big Ten Tournament features many of the top teams in the country. Here is a look at the odds to escape this weekend with the tournament title.

This Tournament is a 12-team single elimination tournament where the top four teams have a bye into the quarterfinals. Each game is played at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, and the tournament runs from March 14-17. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Indiana is the favorite to win, as it has 6/5 odds. Other short odds to win are Michigan (13/5), Michigan State (3/1) and Ohio State (4/1).

Indiana is the top seed in the tournament, as it won the Big Ten outright at 14-4 in conference play and 26-5 overall. Indiana has never won this conference tournament and is just 9-14 in tournament play.

Michigan is the No. 5 seed. It went 12-6 in the Big Ten and 25-6 overall. Michigan won this tournament back in 1998, but had the title stripped away by the NCAA.

Michigan State is the No. 3 seed. The Spartans were 13-5 in the Big Ten and 24-7 overall. The Spartans have won this tournament three times, tied for the most in the Big Ten. MSU is also the defending champion.

Ohio State is the No. 2 seed. The Buckeyes went 13-5 in the Big Ten and 23-7 overall. Ohio State is a three-time winner of this tournament as well, with the last championship coming in 2011.
