Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com haven’t released the opening odds for the UConn-Georgetown matchup, or the Rutgers-St. John’s Big East second round game.
According to latest college basketball trends, the Huskies are 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 games against the Hoyas, while the underdog is 5-2 against the number in the last seven meetings between the two teams.
The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between Rutgers and St. John’s, while the underdog is 7-1 against the spread in the last eight meetings. Dwight Hardy leads St. John’s in points per game with 17.9, while Malik Boothe has a team-high average in assists with 2.9.
