This tournament is a 12-team single elimination tournament with four first round games and four teams getting byes into the quarterfinals. The tournament takes place from March 8-11 from U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville, North Carolina. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Davidson is the favorite to win, as it has 1/3 odds. Other short odds to win are College of Charleston (7/2) and Elon (7/1).

Charleston is the third seed in the tournament, going 14-4 in conference play and 22-9 overall. Charleston has won this tournament 1 time, which was in 1999.

Elon is the No. 2 seed in the tournament, going 13-5 in conference play to win the North Division. Elon also went 20-10 for the regular season. Elon has never won this tournament.
