LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – Will Gonzaga continue its dominance in the WCC by winning the 2014 West Coast Conference Tournament? Here is a look at the odds for this event.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Gonzaga is the favorite to win, as it has odds of -130, while BYU has a money line of +250 and Saint Mary’s comes in with odds of +500.
This is a standard 10-team tournament with two opening-round games and the top 6 seeds in the quarterfinals. The Tournament begins Thursday and continues every other day with the finals on Tuesday. All games are in the Orleans Arena.
Gonzaga is the top seed in the tournament as it went 15-3 in WCC play and is 25-6 overall. The Bulldogs have won this tournament 12 times, which is four times more than any other school. Gonzaga is also the defending tournament champion.
BYU is the No. 2 seed in the tournament. The Cougars went 13-5 in WC play and are 21-10 overall. BYU has never won this tournament, but is new to the conference.
Saint Mary’s is the No. 4 seed in this tournament. The Gaels went 11-7 in conference play and 21-10 overall. Saint Mary’s won this tournament three times, the last title coming in 2012.
