(The Spread) – While the entirety of the top-25 has the night off, the Ivy League and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference have a full slate of games Friday.

In the upper tier of the MAAC, the Rider Broncs (20-9, 11-5) are among three teams fighting for the second seed in the upcoming conference tournament. Rider has the opportunity to solidify its standing Friday night as it plays at last-place Marist at 7:30PM EST.
Oddsmakers and online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Rider 11-point favorites in the matchup. According to the latest trends, Rider is 3-2 against the spread over the past three seasons against Marist. Three of the last five games in the series have gone over the total.
Rider’s third win in a row, and its 20th of the season, was Saturday’s 95-86 victory over Delaware. It is the fourth time this season that the Broncs have won at least three consecutive games. Marist (5-24, 3-13) ended an 11-game losing streak with a 58-49 home win Saturday over New Hampshire. The Broncs handed the Red Foxes their third of those 11 losses in an 80-66 final on Jan. 20.
Sam Prescott is the lone Marist player to be averaging double digits in points as he puts in 11.7 per game. Rider’s scoring attack is highlighted by Justin Robinson, who averages 16 points per contest.
Elsewhere in the MAAC, frontrunner Fairfield is at home against Siena at 7:00PM EST. Fairfield is listed as a 9.5-point favorite. Harvard, the first-place team in the Ivy League, is a 7.5-point favorite for its 7:00PM EST contest at Brown. Princeton, second in the Ivy League, is a10.5-point favorite for its 7:00PM EST home game versus Cornell.
