Georgetown
The Hoyas are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. Georgetown is 1-8 ATS in its last nine Sunday games.
St. John’s
The Red Storm are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven home games. The favorite is 11-4-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings.
Prediction:
Both the Hoyas and St. John’s have run into pretty difficult Big East schedules lately, but with this game being almost a tossup I think the difference here could be Georgetown being the much more talented offensive team. St. John’s has the ability to be decent defensively, but I don’t see the Hoyas having a ton of resistance this afternoon. While this is a revenge game for the Red Storm, the fact that Georgetown won that previous meeting 87-66 on January 8 shows me this might just be a matchup it can exploit again. I’m taking the small underdogs to snap their three-game losing skid in this spot.
