College Basketball Betting Trends
Texas
The Longhorns are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games as a road underdog. Texas is 4-11 ATS in its last 15 games overall.
West Virginia
The Mountaineers are 4-0 ATS in their last four games as a home favorite. West Virginia is 1-5 ATS in its last six Monday games.
Prediction:
The Longhorns have stumbled in their biggest games this season at Baylor and at home against Kansas. This is another tough road test on a quick turnaround and I’d actually put more thought into taking Texas had the Mountaineers not lost Saturday. I think the turnaround here will be tougher on the road team and West Virginia is going to be salty wanting to rebound from that defeat, whereas the Longhorns were expected to lose their game. Look for WVU to lean on its elite defense to pull away from a Texas squad that has struggles offensively.
