The only game that features two ranked teams tonight takes place in Champaign, where No. 22 Illinois (13-5, 3-2 Big Ten) will host No. 18 Michigan State (12-5, 4-1 Big Ten). And despite the two teams’ rankings, oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Illinois a 5-point favorite over Michigan State on Tuesday night.
Kalin Lucas leads the Spartans with 14.7 points per game, while Korie Lucious is averaging 4.1 assists per contest and Draymond Green is averaging 8.9 rebounds per game. Demetri McCamey leads the Fighting Illini in both points per game (16.2) and assists per game (7.0), while Mike Tisdale is averaging 7.6 rebounds per contest.
According to latest college basketball trends, the under is 7-2 in the lat nine meetings between Michigan State and Illinois and is also 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams in Champaign. The Spartans are just 5-12 ATS in the last 17 meetings against the Illini, but the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and the underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four games.
In other top-25 action, No. 23 Georgetown is a 3.5-point road favorite against unranked Seton Hall at 7:00PM ET, while No. 12 Kentucky (-4) travels to Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama at 9:00PM ET. No. 9 BYU will also host TCU at 10:00PM ET and is a whopping 20.5-point favorite.
