USC vs. Colorado Prediction
Colorado is a small home favorite tonight against USC in Pac-12 play. Are the Buffs worth a play for bettors?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Buffs are now 3-point home favorites versus the Trojans after opening as a 2-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, sits at 149.5 after opening at that same number. Tip-off tonight is set for 8:30PM ET.
Bet Tonight’s College Hoops Action
The Trojans fell for the third time in their last four games with an 86-64 defeat at Utah on Thursday. USC went on a 10-point run to start the game but then faded, shooting just 30.8 percent the rest of the first half. The Trojans never really threatened in the second half, coming within only an eight-point deficit the rest of the way.
The Trojans are struggling but they’re not in the same funk that the Buffs are in. Since opening Pac-12 play, they’re 0-4, including a 14-point loss at Utah, a one-point loss at Arizona State, a nine-point loss at Arizona, and a 15-point loss versus then-No. 4 UCLA. In the defeat to the Bruins, the Buffs couldn’t slow Bryce Alford, who scored a career-high 37 points, hitting nine of UCLA’s 19 3-pointers.

OUR PREDICTION: Colorado should get its first Pac-12 victory tonight against USC. The Buffs are due and they’ve played well against the Trojans, covering in five of their last six games versus USC. The Trojans, meanwhile, have struggled to cover in Pac-12 play, going 1-5 against the spread in their last six conference games. They’re also 3-9 at the betting window in their last 12 road games, are 1-8 against the number in their last nine games overall, and are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games as a road underdog.
