College Basketball Betting Trends
Syracuse
The Orange are 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall. Syracuse is 1-5-1 ATS in its last seven games as an underdog.
Virginia
The Cavaliers are 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games. The home team is 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings.
Prediction:
Virginia had a rough go of it at Boston College and its offense continues to be brutal to do no favors to what is still the top-ranked defense nationally in terms of adjusted efficiency. With the Orange being a fairly good offense team that has some defensive issues, I think they match up well with the Cavaliers since the hosts aren’t likely to light it up any time soon. The Orange are 1-1 straight up in true road games this season and I think they can do enough to stay within the number here against their offensively-challenged foe.
