Missouri State (5-11 SU, 5-6 ATS) is coming off two straight wins over Illinois State, 62-55 on Tuesday and Drake on the road, 77-65 on Saturday.

LINE MOVEMENT: Creighton opened as a 14-point favorite and remained there at most books. The total started at 128.5 and remained there in most books.

NCAA FREE PICK: Take Florida. According to the latest college basketball trends, the Bluejays are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 Friday games, 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall,  7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a SU win of more than 20 points and are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a S.U. win. Missouri St. is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games, 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following a S.U. win. and are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 Friday games.

Creighton is off to its best start in 10 seasons and they are doing it as a team even though All-American Doug McDermott averages 22.6 points per game. Senior center Gregory Echenique (10.8 ppg) is the only other Creighton player averaging in double figures. Six other Bluejays average between 5.6 and 9.8 points, while eight are playing at least 15 minutes per contest. Six players have made at least 10 3-pointers for a squad that is shooting a Division I-best 44.9 percent from beyond the arc. Creighton also ranks among the best in the country averaging 18.4 assists and has three players with at least 2.2 per contest. Making the extra pass is why Creighton is one of the best teams in the country. Missouri State is led by guard Anthony Downing (14.6 ppg), who averaged 20.0 points on 16-of-25 shooting in two games against them last season. Downing doesn't have enough help and the Bears don't have the talent to hang with Echenique and McDermott.
