NCAA FREE PICK: Take Syracuse. According to latest college basketball trends, Syracuse is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a SU win of more than 20 points,  22-5 ATS in their last 27 road games following three or more consecutive home game, 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall, 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a S.U. win and are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games. South Florida is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS win.Last year: (2/22/12):  SYRACUSE (-14) over South Florida, 56-48. This is a mismatch as Syracuse (13-1 SU, 8-2 ATS) takes on South Florida (9-3 SU, 5-6 ATS) from the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla. To make matters worse for South Florida is that they may be playing without two key players in G Shaun Noriega and F Kore White. Syracuse averages 81.7ppg and allows just 58pp, while South Florida only averages 66.5ppg and allows 60.2pg. USF has won four straight but this is their first conference game. Syracuse has won nine of the last 10 meetings and have won the past four matchups by an average of 13.3 points. They held the Bulls to just 37.6% from the floor and 17.8% from beyond the arc. Syracuse has an outstanding point guard in Michael Carter-Williams, who leads the nation in assists with 10.1 per game. He has a stocked team to pass to led by Brandon Triche, who averages 14.6ppg. The Orange are too talented and their matchup zone will be too tough again for the Bulls.

SUNDAY COLLEGE BASKETBALL FREE PICK: SYRACUSE ORANGE -8.5
