WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -E'Twaun Moore scored 14 points to help No. 10 Purdue beat Valparaiso 59-45 on Sunday for its sixth consecutive victory.
JaJuan Johnson had 10 points, Robbie Hummel had nine points and 14 rebounds and Bobby Riddell added nine points in 21 minutes for the Boilermakers (11-2).
Urule Igbavboa and Jake Diebler each scored 13 points for Valparaiso (3-9), which has lost five in a row.
Purdue guard Chris Kramer sat out with a sprained left foot.
The Boilermakers led by two at halftime, but held the Crusaders to 28 percent shooting after the break. Valparaiso made just one field goal in the final seven minutes of the game.
The Boilermakers hit six of 14 3-pointers in the second half to expand the lead and improve to 13-1 against the Crusaders.
No. 13 UCLA 78, Louisiana Tech 55
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Josh Shipp returned from a two-game absence to score 16 points, and UCLA never trailed in beating outmanned Louisiana Tech.
Bruins (10-2), who took a 20-point halftime lead in breezing to their sixth straight victory. They have won those six games by an average of 26.3 points.
Shipp missed one-sided victories over Mercer and Wyoming with a sprained ligament in his left thumb. The 6-foot-5 senior shot 6-of-8 against Louisiana Tech before leaving for good with 8:05 left.
Darren Collison, who brought a team-leading 15.5-point scoring average into the game, scored only two points but had a season-high 10 assists.
Magnum Rolle led Louisiana Tech (6-7) with a career-high 17 points and seven rebounds.
