STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) -Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury is out of the hospital and will coach the Bulldogs against Cincinnati in the SEC/Big East Challenge on Thursday.
Stansbury checked into the hospital Sunday night complaining of headaches and flu-like symptoms. He was diagnosed on Tuesday with a viral infection that was treated with steroids. He was released Wednesday morning.
Stansbury plans to travel to Cincinnati (7-2) with the Bulldogs (7-3) on Wednesday afternoon.
