WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -Harvey Hale had a season-high 17 points to help No. 11 Wake Forest beat Wright State 66-53 on Sunday.
L.D. Williams added 11 points for the Demon Deacons (9-0), who are off to their best start since winning the first 11 games of 2003-04. Playing its first game after a weeklong break for exams, Wake Forest shot 52 percent and had 22 turnovers.
John David Gardner scored 14 points to lead Wright State (2-7).
Hale came into the game averaging 6.8 points and shooting 7-for-23 (30 percent) from 3-point range. But the senior hit his first five shots - all from behind the arc - to crack double figures in scoring for the first time this season.

PHOENIX (AP) - Jeff Pendergraph and Derek Glasser scored all of Arizona State's four points in overtime, and the Sun Devils rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit.
Rihards Kuksiks scored 18 points, all on 3-pointers, to lead the Sun Devils (8-1), who trailed 39-23 in the early minutes of the second half.

The Sun Devils, who had just the two field goals in overtime, turned the ball over on their final possession, but IUPUI's Alex Young missed an off-balance 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Young had 19 points for the Jaguars (5-4), who fell to 0-7 all-time against ranked opponents.
