NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -Southern California freshman Leonard Washington was ejected from the Trojans' game against No. 6 Oklahoma on Thursday night after elbowing preseason All-America forward Blake Griffin below the belt.
Officials looked at replays before calling a flagrant foul against Washington, who slugged Griffin as USC prepared to set up its offense just over 6 minutes into the second half.
Griffin had scored 14 points but had only three rebounds at the time, well below his average of 19 per game.
Griffin missed both technical free throws and then came out of the game, but returned less than 2 minutes later.
