WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -Wake Forest forward Jamie Skeen will not return for the spring semester, after he was declared ineligible for the fall semester for violating the school's academic policy.
School officials said Wednesday night before the Demon Deacons' game against Indiana that Skeen decided not to appeal for reinstatement to the university.
Coach Dino Gaudio called Skeen ``one of the most coachable, respectful kids I have been associated with'' and said he was disappointed to learn of Skeen's decision.
Skeen averaged 5.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 29 games last season.
