 NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Matt Kingsley scored a career high 33 points and missed only one shot to lead Stephen F. Austin to a 73-59 victory over Jackson State on Tuesday.
Kingsley made 15 out of 16 field goal attempts and made three free throws to lead all scorers in the game.
Stephen F. Austin (3-2) outscored Jackson State 40-22 in the paint and took the lead for good with 15 minutes left in the first half. Josh Alexander and Girod Adams each chipped in 14 points for the Lumberjacks.
Garrison Johnson scored 13 points for Jackson State (1-6). Grant Maxey added 11.
