ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -Anthony Raffa scored 17 points, grabbed six rebounds and had five assists to lead Albany, N.Y., to a 57-47 victory over Bryant on Monday night.
Brian Connelly added 13 points, all in the first half, as Albany (5-2, 0-0 America East) beat Bryant for the second time in 13 days, extending their winning streak to five – their longest since November.
Bryant pulled to within 28-24 at the beginning of the second half, but Albany responded with a 19-4 sprint, including 11 points from Tim Ambrose within a 10-minute stretch. Ambrose finished with 13 points, reaching double figures for the fifth straight game.
Barry Latham scored 16 points for Bryant (1-4), which shot a season-low 32.7 percent from the field, including 3-of-21 from 3-point range.
Albany led 28-22 at halftime.
