CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) – Rodney Pryor made 4 of 4 from 3-point range and scored 22 points to help Robert Morris beat Louisiana-Monroe 71-54 in the teams’ final game of the Battle 4 Atlantis on Thursday.
Lucky Jones scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds and David Appolon added 11 points for Robert Morris (2-4).
Robert Morris opened the game with a 10-2 run and never trailed.
The Colonials scored 17 of the final 27 in the first half to take a 37-26 lead into halftime.
Louisiana-Monroe (2-3) committed 15 turnovers, which were converted into 25 points, and was out-rebounded 39-26.
Both teams shot about 42 percent from the field, but Robert Morris out-shot Louisiana-Monroe from behind the arc (6 of 13 compared to 4 of 17) and from the free throw line (17 of 20 to 8 of 14).
Marvin Williams scored 14 and Justin Roberson added 12 for Louisiana-Monroe.
