Drexel beats Rice 55-47 in DirecTV Classic Print

 ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Frantz Massenat scored 20 points to lead Drexel to a 55-47 victory over Rice on Sunday in the consultation round of the DirecTV Classic.
Massenat was 7 of 10 from the field and was 3 of 3 from 3-point range.
Damion Lee scored 16 points and was 6 of 6 from the free throw line. Daryl McCoy grabbed seven rebounds for the Dragons (2-4).
Drexel led 30-20 at halftime. In the second half, the score was tied at 37 at the 10:28 mark. Massenat would hit a 3-pointer, followed by a jump shot on the next possession, giving the Dragons a 42-37 lead. They led from that point on.
Drexel shot 51 percent from the field for the game.
Rice only shot 36.5 percent from the field.
Tamir Jackson scored 20 points, and Julian DeBose added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Owls (1-5).
