 OREM, Utah (AP) -Ryan Toolson scored a career-high 41 points to lead Utah Valley to a 90-80 win over Montana Western.
After leading 42-38 at halftime, the Wolverines (2-0) ran away from the Bulldogs (4-3) behind Toolson's 19 second-half points. He ended up 13-for-17 from the field and 4-for-5 from 3-point range.
Solomon Jensen was the only other Wolverine to reach double figures, scoring 10 points. Jordan Swarbrick added seven points and four assists.
Brandon Lawson led Montana Western with 19 points, and Terry Hauser added 17.
