WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) -Chad Tomko scored 33 points to lead UNC-Wilmington to a 107-95 win against Troy on Monday night.
Tomko was 5-for-12 from behind the arc and Dominique Lacy notched a double-double, scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for the Seahawks (2-0). Johnny Wolf also chipped in 20 points.
Richard Delk scored 19 points to lead the Trojans (0-2), who shot 43.3 percent from the field (38 of 87) compared to a 49.6 percent mark (37 of 75) from the Seahawks.
UNC-Wilmington, who had four players score in double figures, hit 16 3-pointers and out rebounded the Trojans 50-42 en route to victory.
The Trojans led the Seahawks 55-47 at halftime but shot 39.5 percent (15 of 38) versus UNC-Wilmington’s 54.6 mark (20 of 37) in the second half.
