PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (AP) -Dorian McDaniel scored 24 points and Brian Ezeh added 14 to lead Prairie View to an 88-59 victory over Schreiner on Wednesday night.
McDaniel hit 10-of-13 from the field, including 3-of-5 3-pointers for Prairie View (1-1). Ezeh got 12 of his 14 points in the second half, including three 3-pointers. Ezeh also had 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Rodney Meadows added 13 points and Derek Johnson 11 for the Panthers.
Cory Tellis and Keith Perry each scored 10 to lead Schreiner (0-1).
Prairie View shot 57 percent from the field to 42 percent for Schreiner.
Prairie View led 38-27 at the half.
