PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) -Jeremiah Lawrence scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds, and Shenandoah beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 94-91 in triple overtime in an exhibition game Tuesday night.
Lamar Bentley contributed 20 points for Shenandoah.
Shenandoah led for most of the first half before the Hawks were able to take a two-point lead into halftime. UMES held this advantage for most of the final 20 minutes of regulation until an 8-2 run gave Shenandoah a 59-57 lead with 4:42 remaining.
The teams then swapped the lead three times and were tied on two others before Imshawiyl McFadden tied it for the Hawks with 29 seconds left. McFadden finished the game with 17 points and four rebounds.
Ed Tyson scored a game-high 32 points for UMES.
