 MADISON, Wis. (AP) -Joe Krabbenhoft scored 12 points to lead No. 25 Wisconsin to a 64-47 victory over Division III Wisconsin-Whitewater on Tuesday night in the Badgers' final exhibition game.
The Badgers allowed Whitewater to hang around through the middle of the second half before finally taking over with defense.
Leading 44-42 with just over nine minutes to go, Wisconsin held the Warhawks scoreless for almost six minutes while reeling off a 9-0 run. The Badgers pulled away in the final minutes.
The teams slogged through a slow-paced game that featured 44 fouls.
Myles McKay scored 16 points to lead the Warhawks.
