SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -Steven Gray scored nine of his 17 points in the first eight minutes, helping No. 12 Gonzaga roll to a 90-58 exhibition victory over Southern Oregon on Friday night.
Redshirt freshman forward Sam Dower also scored 17 points for the Bulldogs, who had five players finish in double figures.
Kyle Tedder scored 16 of his 20 points in the first half for the NAIA Raiders.
Tedder tried to keep Southern Oregon close, hitting his fourth 3-pointer with 1:37 left in the half, but Gonzaga closed with a 6-2 run for a 44-24 lead.
Goodson and Olynyk both added 12 points, and Robert Sacre had 11 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots for Gonzaga.
Forward Elias Harris, Gonzaga’s top returning scorer from last season, did not play because of a sore shoulder.
