PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) – Former walk-on guard Logan Kelley is no longer on Rutgers’ basketball team.
New coach Eddie Jordan made the announcement Monday, just four days before the season opener against Florida A&M.
Kelley played in three games last season and Jordan placed him on scholarship after replacing the fired Mike Rice earlier this year.
After meeting with Kelley, Jordan said ”it was apparent the best course of action was for him to pursue other opportunities.”
