LOS ANGELES (AP) -Highly touted freshman big man Kevin Love had 15 points and 12 rebounds in his UCLA debut and the second-ranked Bruins beat Azusa Pacific 111-61 in an exhibition game Friday night.
Love, a 6-foot-10 and 260-pound center, went 6-for-10 from the field, made a 3-pointer and had three assists in his first appearance at Pauley Pavilion.
Josh Shipp led UCLA with 20 points, while Michael Roll had 16 points and Darren Collison added 12 points and seven assists
Shipp went 8-for-11 from the field and the Bruins shot 59.4 percent.
UCLA scored the game’s first 10 points and never trailed.
Todd Martin led Azusa Pacific with 10 points.
