WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) – E’Twaun Moore scored 13 points and JaJuan Johnson added 11 to help No. 14 Purdue beat Indianapolis 82-59 in an exhibition game Tuesday night.
Johnson, a preseason All-America selection, had eight rebounds and a block in 19 minutes.
It was Purdue’s first chance to figure out how to replace Robbie Hummel. The forward went down with a season-ending ACL injury last month.
Purdue’s highly touted freshman guards contributed. Terone Johnson scored nine points and Anthony Johnson added seven.
Purdue led 44-34 at halftime, then steadily pulled away. The Boilermakers shot 47 percent overall and outrebounded the Greyhounds 50-28.
Nate Blank scored 18 points and Darius Adams added 16 for Indianapolis.
