BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) Indiana forward Collin Hartman had surgery on his left knee, and coach Tom Crean says he’s uncertain how much time the senior will miss.
Hartman was injured last week during a non-contact drill. The Hoosiers have not specified what the diagnosis is.
The athletic department issued a release Wednesday, saying Hartman’s rehab would begin immediately and it is too early to establish a timetable for his return.
Hartman played in 35 games last season and made 24 starts, averaging 5.0 points and 3.1 rebounds for a team that reached the Sweet Sixteen.
Crean said seeing any player get hurt ”tears you up – even more so when it’s someone like Collin Hartman, who has been a huge part of our success and is in his senior year.”
