BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) A University at Buffalo Police report states Justin Moss is one of three men’s basketball players accused of stealing $650 out of a dorm room in June, some three months before the star forward was dropped from the team.
The report says Moss, Mory Diane and Raheem Johnson had access after being issued a master key to the apartment complex as part of a job to replace batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The money was returned a few days later.
The report was obtained by The Associated Press following a request under the Freedom of Information Law.
The Buffalo News first reported what happened.
The school announced Monday that last season’s Mid-American Conference player of the year was no longer a member of the team or enrolled in classes.
